Eliza is a painter (and occasional poet) from California, based in Bristol. Inspired by an environmentalist ethos and love of myth and magic, her current work emphasises the wonder to be found in local green spaces.

Largely self-taught in oil and watercolour, Eliza studied a BA in English and an MA in Environmental Humanities, the latter of which brought her to the city in 2024. This interdisciplinary background informs her creative practice, and she is very interested in how the arts can help to reshape the way we think and feel about the natural world.
